From the court minutes in Hunterdon County, NJ February Term 1804 Division of Real Estate } Paul Kuhl, John Lequear, and John Covenhoven, of John Robins, deceased } appointed by a Rule of the Orphan's Court of October Term, 1803, to make division of the Real estate of the said John Robins, deceased, among his children and heirs at law, made report in writing under their revered hands and seals (together with a map of the same thereunto preficed) in the following words and figures, to wit:--"In pursuance of a Decree of the Orphan's Court of the County of Hunterdon, made in the term of October last part, appointing us the subscribers commissioners for dividing the Real Estate late of John Robins, dec'd in the County of Hunterdon, between John Robins, Elizabeth Dunham, and Joseph Robins, (grandsons and granddaughter of the aforesd John Robins, dec'd and sons and daughter of John Robins, who died before his ancestor John Robins the Elder) Amos Robins, Job Robins, Jonathan Robins, Anne wife of Samuel Vanaumer, Jane wife of Amos Sutton, Mary wife of William Smith, Elizabeth wife of Nathan Sutton, his heirs at law, one of them being a minor under the age of twenty-one years, we do report to the Judges of the said Orphan's Court, that we have made division of the said real estate between the said John Robins, Elizabeth Dunham, Joseph Robins, Amos Robins, Job Robins, Jonathan Robins, Anne Vanaumer, Jane Sutton, Mary Smith, and Elizabeth Sutton, according to the act entitled "An act to alter the law directing the descent of real estate," passed twenty-fourth day of May Anno Dom. 1780, and have ascertained each ones share by metes and bounds, as follows, that is to say, we have assigned and set off unto the aforesaid John Robins, Elizabeth Dunham, and Joseph Robins, the several lots mentioned and numbered in the map (hereunto annexed) lot No. 1 and No. 10, the first of which lots, vizt. lot No. 1, situate in the township of Amwell, and county aforesd begins at a stake for a corner in a line of John Leigh's land, and from thence runs south eighty-five degrees, west fifteen chains and forty-five links along George Trout's line of land to a stake in sd line; Thence north five degrees west twenty-two chains and sixty-eight links to a corner in a line of George Kuhl's land, Thence north eighty-four degrees and thirty minutes cast fifteen chains and forty-five links, to a course in a line of Elijah Garman's land, Thence partly along sd Garman's line, and partly along John Leigh's, south five degrees east twenty-two chains and seventy-four links to the place of beginning, and contains thirty-five acres and thirteen perches of land. Lot No. 10 Begins at a stake in a line of the aforesaid George Trout's land, and from thence runs south eighty-five degrees west four chains and ninety-two links along sd Trout's line to a corner to lot No. 11, thence north three degrees and thirty minutes west nine chains and fifty-five links to a corner in the road leading from John Buchanan's tavern toward Trenton; Thence south fifty-six degrees and thirty minutes east six chains and thirty links to another corner in said road, thence south three degrees and thirty minutes east five chains and sixty-two links to the place of beginning and contains three acres and an half acre and thirty-five perches of land. Unto the aforesd Amos Robins we have assigned and set off in severalty the lots marked No. 2 and No. 12 situate in the township aforesaid, the first of which lots, vizt. No. 2, Begins at a stake for a corner in a line of the aforesaid George Trout's land, and is also a corner to lot No. 1, and from thence runs south eighty-five degrees west eleven chains to a corner to lot No. 3 Thence aliong said lot north five degrees west, twenty-two chains and sixty-two links to a Sassafras bush, by a burying ground, Thence north eighty-four degrees and thirty minutes east eleven chains to a corner to lot No. 1 Thence along the same south five degrees east twenty-two chains and sixty-eight links to the place of beginning, and contains twenty-four acres three quarters and twenty-six perches of land. Lot No 12, Begins at a stake in a line of the aforesd George Trout's land and from thence runs south eighty-five degrees west three chains to a corner to lot No. 13, thence along said lot north three degrees and thirty minutes west twelve chains and seventy links to a corner in the road, Thence north forty-six degrees and thirty minutes east, one chain and sixty-three links to another corner, Thence south fifty-six degrees and thirty minutes east two chains and twenty-two links to a stake for a corner, Thence south three degrees and thirty minutes east twelve chains and thirty-seven links to the place of beginning, and contains three acres three quarters and thirty-three perches of land. Unto the aforesd Job Robins we have assigned and set off in severalty the lots marked No. 3 and No. 11 situate in the township aforesaid, the first of which lots vizt. No. 3, Begins at the south westwardly corner of lot No. 2 in a line of the aforesd George Trout's land, and from thence runs along said Trout's line south eighty-five links to a corner thence north five degrees west, tenty-two chains and fifty six links to a stake for a corner in a line of Wood Barcroft's land thence along the same north eighty-four degrees and thirty minutes east nine chains and twenty-five links to a corner of lot No. 2, being a Sasafras bush Thence south five degrees east twenty-two chains and sixty-two links to the place of beginning, and contains twenty acres three quarters and twenty-three perches of land. Lot No. 11 Begins in a line of George Trout's land at a corner of lot No. 10 and from thence runs along said Trout's line south eighty-five degrees west three chains and sixty links to a corner to Lot No. 12, thence along said lot No. 12 north three degrees and thirty minutes west twelve chains and thirty-seven links to a corner in the road thence along the sd road south fifty-six degrees and thirty minutes west four chains and forty eight links to another corner in sd road thence south three degrees and thirty minutes east nine chains & fifty-five links to the place of beginning and contains three acres three quarters and twenty-nine perches of land. Unto the aforesd Jonathan Robins we have assigned & set off in severalty the lots marked No. 4 and No. 9 situate in the township of Amwell the first of which lots vizt. No. 4, Begins at a stake in a line of George Trout's land at the south westwardly corner of lot No. 3 and from thence runs south eighty-five degrees west nine chains and fifty links to a corner to lot No. 5 thence along the same north five degrees west twenty-two chains and fifty-two links to a stake for a corner in a line of John Buchanan's land thence along said Buchanan's line north eighty-four degrees and thirty minutes east nine chains and fifty links to a corner in a line of Wood Barcroft's land, thence by lot No. 3 south five degrees east twenty-two chains and forty-six links to the place of beginning and contains twenty-one acres one quarter and twenty-six perches of land. Lot No. 9 Begins in a line of the above named George Trout's land at a corner of lot No. 8 and from thence runs south eighty-five degrees west four chains and sixty-three links to a corner to lot No. 10 thence along the same north three degrees and thirty minutes west five chains and sixty-two links, to a corner in the road heading from John Buchanan's tavern towards Trenton Thence along said road south forty-four degrees and thirty minutes east seven chains and fourteen links to the place of beginning, and contains one acre one quarter and seveb perches of land. Unto Jane Suton wife of Amos Sutton we have assigned and set off in severalty the lots marked No. 5 and No. 15 situate in the township aforesaid, the first of which lots, vizt. No. 5, begins at a stake in a line of the above named George Trout's land and from thence runs along said Trout's line south eighty-five degreed west six chains and ninety-three links to another corner in said Trout's line Thence north five degrees west twenty-two chains and forty-eight links to a corner in a line of John Buchanan's land, thence along the same north eighty-four degrees and thirty minutes east six chains and ninety-three links to a corner to lot No. 4, thence along sd lot south five degrees east twenty-two chains and fifty-two links to the place of beginning, and contains fifteen acres one half acre, and fourteen perches of land. LOt No. 15 Begins at a corner of the aforesd George Trout's land, and from thence runs north three degrees and forty-five minutes west twelve chains and seventy-one links to a corner of John Buchanan's land, in a line of Simon Myer's land, thence along Buchanan's line north eighty-three degrees and forty-five minutes east two chains to a corner in sd Buchanan's line, thence south three degrees and forty-five minutes east twelve chains and seventy links to corner in the aforesd George Trout's line thence along the same south eighty-five degrees west two chains to the first station or place of beginning and contains two acres and an half acre, and four perches of land. Unto Elizabeth Sutton wife of Nathan Sutton we have assigned and set off the lots marked in the annexed map No. 6 and No. 14 the first of which lots vizt. No. 6 begins at a stake for a corner in a line in the aforesd George Trout's land and from thence runs along said Trout's line south eighty-five degrees west six chains and ninety-three links to another corner in said Trout's line Thence north five degrees west twenty-two chains and forty-four links to a corner in a line of the aforesaid John Buchanan's land thence along the same north eighty-four degrees and thirty minutes east six chains and ninety-three links to a corner to lot No. 5 thence along sd lot south five degrees east twenty-two chains and forty-eight links to the place of beginning, and contains fifteen acres and an half acre and ten perches of land. Lot No. 14 situate in the township aforesaid begins at the northeast corner to lot No. 15 and from thence runs north three degrees and forty-five minutes west twelve chains and seventy links to a corner in the aforesd Buchanan's line thence along the same north eighty-three degrees & forty-five minutes east one chain and sixty links to corner to lot No. 13 Thence along sd lot south three degrees and forty-five minutes east twelve chains and seventy links to a corner in the aforesd George Trout's line Thence south eighty-five degrees west one chain and sixty links to the place of beginning, and contains two acres of land. Unto Anne Vanauner wife of Samuel Vanauner we have assigned and set off in severalty the lots marked in the annexed map No. 7 and No. 13 the first of which lots vizt. No. 7 Begins at a stake in the aforesd George Trout's line and from thence runs south eighty-five degrees west six chains and ninety-three links to a corner to lot No. 9 Thence north six degrees and forty-five minutes west twenty-two chains and forty links to a corner in the aforesd John Buchanan's line thence along the same north eighty-four degrees and thirty minutes east seven chains and sixty links thence south five degrees east twenty two chains and forty four links to the place of beginning, and contains sixteen acres and thirty-seven perches of land. Lot No. 13 Begins at a corner to lot No. 12 in a line of the aforsd George Trout's land and from thence runs south eighty-five degrees west one chain and thirty-five linksto a corner to lot No. 14 thence along sd lot north three degrees and forty-five minutes west twelve chains and seventy links to a corner in John Buchanan's line thence north eighty-three degrees and forty-five minutes east one chain and forty-five links to a stake for a corner by the road thence south three degrees and thirty minutes east twelve chains and seventy links to the place of beginning, and contains one acre three quarters and one perch of land. Unto Mary Smith wife of William Smith we have assigned and set off lot No. 8 as is designated in the annexed map Beginning at the southeastwardly corner to Lot No. 9, and from thence runs north forty-four degrees and thirty minutes west seven chains and fourteen links to a stake for a corner thence north fifty-six degrees and thirty minutes west thirteen chains to John Buchanan's line thence along sd line north forty-six degrees and thirty minutes east ninteen chains and eighty-seven links to a corner in the Flemington road thence north eight-four degrees and thirty minutes east three chains to a corner to Lot No. 7 thence along the same south six degrees and forty-five minutes east twenty-two chains and forty links to the place of beginning, and contains sixteen acres and thirty perches of land. All which several lots of land as above designated and described are situated in the township of Amwell and County aforesaid. And we do further certify and report that the foregoing are all the lands and real estate of the said John Robins deceased in the County of Hunterdon known unto us, whereof we could make division.
