Zilphia Ferguson Lakes , 73, of Berea, died Thursday at Berea
Hospital. She was retired from Parker Seal, Berea, and a member of Dixie
Park Full Gospel Baptist Church, Berea.

Her husband, Arthur D. Lakes, and a daughter, Carol Jean Harrison,
preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Jimmy D. Lakes and Larry
R. Lakes of Berea, Bradley I. Lakes of Arab, Ala., and Kenneth Wayne Lakes
of Somerset; sisters, Lucy Pennington, Flora Lee Melton and Leona Bowles
of Dry Ridge; a brother, Herman Ferguson of Owington; 10 grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.

Services are at 2 p.m. today at Lakes Funeral Home, Berea. Burial will
be in Berea Cemetery.
