BELLEVIEW - Willie A. Lakes, 84, a retired Southern Baptist minister, died
Friday, June 8, 2001.
Mr. Lakes was a native of Lincoln County, Ky.
Survivors include his wife, Charity M. Lakes, Belleview; son, William J.
"Bill" Lakes, Jacksonville; daughter, Evelyn L. "Kandi" Griffin, Ocala;
brothers, L.J. Lakes, Arizona, Gerald Lakes, Springboro, Ohio, Theodore
Lakes, South Carolina, and Dale Lakes, Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Betty L.
Caldwell, Miamisburg, Ohio, Dora L. Elmore, Dayton, Etta M. Dotson and
Carolyn Minton, both of Middletown, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and 11
great-grandchildren.
