Her sisters and brother have fond memories of the times spent together at the house in Dearborn. She met her future husband, Kenneth, while at a softball game on a date with another man. It was love and first sight and they were married on February 18, 1955. Their romance and relationship would take them many places often at the whim of the Air Force. They lived in Japan where Kevin was born, Michigan, Hawaii where David was born, Georgia, Mississippi where Eric was born, South Dakota and finally Oklahoma in 1976 where they would live and raise their three boys and eventually retired. She was the proud matriarch of a family of all boys and she fit right in. She played basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball, football, and bowled with the best of them. Her crowning achievement was the three sons she raised with Kenneth. She enjoyed playing sports with them and teaching them the life lessons that would serve each of them well over their lives. She remained active during her last years playing tennis, softball, and bowling in two different leagues. Her favorite moments were the time spent with her grandchildren. She loved to spend time with all of the seven grandkids at the house playing outside, playing games, reading, and watching videos.
