        Lewisville - S.B. Lakey, 76, of Lewisville died Sunday, Oct. 28,
2001, at Longmeadow Care Center in Justin.
        He was born April 20, 1925, in Batesville, Miss. During World War II
he served in the U.S. Navy. On Aug. 31, 1946, he married Erma C. Davis in
Mississippi. She died March 17, 1996.
        Mr. Lakey worked as a carpenter.
        A service will be at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Mulkey-Mason
Funeral Home in Lewisville. The Rev. Randy Templin will officiate. Interment
will follow in Chinn Chapel Cemetery in Copper Canyon.
        Survivors include two daughters, Betty Ann Lipstraw of Longview and
Sandra Pruitt of Lewisville; three sons, Robert G. Lakey and James H. Lakey,
both of Lewisville, and Barry G. Lakey of Lake Dallas; one brother, Carl
Lakey; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by one son, Joe Lakey, four sisters and two brothers.
