The News-Times; Danbury CT; 2001-8-30 Paulette Leeke 2001-08-30 Paulette Bower Hope Leeke, 60, of Independence, Ky., died unexpectedly at her home Aug. 14. She was born April 16, 1941, in Bridgeport, the daughter of Ruth Bower Gasser of Roxbury and the late Herbert Bower. Mrs. Leeke graduated from Booth Free School in Roxbury and the former Washington High School. She pursued a nursing career at Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing and was employed in the nursery at Bridgeport Hospital and the operating room at New Milford Hospital. Mrs. Leeke is survived by her mother, three sons, Jonathan Hope and his wife Cindy of Loxahatchee, Fla., William Hope and his wife Valerie of Pompani Beach, Fla., and Christopher Hope and his wife Cindy of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, Suzanne LeDoux and her husband Jeffrey of Wilton, Maine; four grandchildren; and two nieces. A Mass of Resurrection was held Aug. 20 at St. Patrick's Church in Covington, Ky. A memorial service will take place September 8 at 3 p.m. at the home of Mabel Smith, 16 South St., Roxbury.
