LAKES   Myrtle (nee Lakes), beloved wife of the late Luther Lakes
Sr., dear mother of Violet (Herman) Browning, Luther C. (Brenda) and
Richard L. (Ann) Lakes, loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and
eight great grandchildren, dear sister of Ella May Smith, Ruby Smith,
Nina Smith, Iva Gabbard and Ollie Bee Russell (all of KY), preceded
in death by her parents Andy and Orpha (Farmer) Lakes, six brothers
and two sisters. Thursday, November 4, 1999, age 79 years. Friends may
call at Chas. A. Miller Sons Funeral Home, Hamilton Ave. at Knowlton
St., Northside, Friday 5-8 P.M. and at Lake's Funeral Home, McKee,
KY, Saturday 6-9 P.M. where funeral services will be held Sunday at 3
P.M. Interment Hamilton Cemetery, McKee, KY. The family has requested
