Arizona Republic; Phoenix AZ; 1999-1-25 Morton D. Lakin, 66, of Scottsdale, a retired salesman, died Jan. 23, 1999. He was born in New Brunswick, N.J., and was a Korean War veteran. He was also a member of the Jewish War Veterans and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Florence; daughter, Dina Nemet; sons, Donald and Bryan; brother, Richard; and five grandchildren. Mr. Lakin, who died Saturday in Scottsdale Healthcare, was a salesman for Wood Press in Paterson for 15 years before retiring In 1994. He also had worked for other printing companies. Mr. Lakin was a member of the Graphic Arts Center of New Jersey and the B'nai B'rith and Workman's Circle. He received the Centurion Club Award for Graphic Arts. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in East Brunswick and Highland Park before moving recently to Scottsdale.
