LAKINS, MILDRED J. - age 96 of Knoxville passed away Thursday,
March 20, 2008, at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Member of Knoxville Baptist Tabernacle. Preceded in death by husband,
Leonard Lakins. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Carol
Dalton, Sidney and Sue Dalton; daughter, Virginia Merriman; daughter and
son-in-law, Frances and Virgil Lunsford; several grandchildren; several
great grandchildren; and four half-brothers. Funeral services will be
7:00 PM Friday, March 21, 2008, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home
with Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger officiating. Family and friends will meet
10:45 AM Saturday at Avondale Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment. The
