Mary Louise Lakin, 92, of Burwell died Monday, May 26, 2008, at the
Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 5 at the United Methodist
Church in Burwell. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery in Burwell. The
Rev. Joel Rathbun will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 4 at Hitchcock
Funeral Home in Burwell.

Mrs. Lakin was born July 25, 1915, at Burwell to George and Flora
(Graber) Hilpert.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Lakin, on Nov.
10, 2003.

Survivors of the immediate family include two sons and daughters-in-law,
Bill and Norma Lakin of Frederick, Md., and LeRoy and Dawn Lakin of
Brea, Calif.
