Atended Brown's Buisiness College in Peoria, IL Served in WWII in Navy from 1944-1946 Owned Ideal Motors in Peoria and later Peoria Motors, INc. from 1953-1968, After moving to Galesburg owned McCrery Motors Ford (AKA Louis Lakis Ford/Steve Lakis Dodge, later). Member of OSF St. Mary Medical Center Areawide Board, the Ford Dealers Council, the Ford Dealers Advertising Fund Board, Soangetaha Country Club, its board, the Masons and the American Lebanese Society. Hororary member fo theKnos-Lombard 50 year Club, All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Peoria. Services at 11 AM Monday at his church.
