The Herald Everett, Washington Friday, July 17, 2009 Lillian Lakey Lillian Lakey, 97, of Marysville, Washington, went home to be with her Lord on July 7, 2009. Lillian was born April 29, 1912 in Elkhart, Kansas to E. G. and Mary McGregor. Lillian was a member of The First Baptist Church of Marysville and will be remembered for her kindness to everyone, her willingness to always help and her love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lillian loved to travel, garden and was an extraordinary seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, James. She will be missed and cherished by her daughters, Betty Fryberg and Janice O'Dell, her grandchildren, Debra (Donald) Scherck, Michael (Lori) Gellerson, Denise Fryberg (Raymond), Dennis Fryberg (Niki) Bonnie (Ken) Wilz, and Deanna Chelton (Fernando), 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and her special sister-in-law, Barbara Yotty. A memorial service for Lillian will be held at 2 p.m., this Saturday, July 18, 2009, at The Bapist Church of Marysville, 4011 81 St Place NE, Marysville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her honor to Hospice of Snohomish County and/or Benevita Aduot Family Home of Marysville.
