LAKES, Kevin Dee age 38 of Middletown, Ohio, went home to be with the
Lord on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Bethesda Area Medical Center. He
had been employed as a machine operator at Clark Steel for three years.
He was preceded in death by his father, J. D. Lakes and niece, Christy
Barnett. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Nicole Lakes; two
children, Dalton and Abigail Lakes; his mother, Jeanette Smith of
Middletown, Ohio; four brothers, Donald Sisco of Middletown, Ohio,
Dennis (Cheryl) Sisco, of Hamilton, Ohio, Scott (Theresa) Sisco, of
Tennessee, and Greg (Rana) Lakes, of Mason, Ohio; one sister, Kathy
(Eddie) Barnett, of Middletown, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, aunts,
uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17,
2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S.
Main St., Middletown, followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Dr.
Dan Flory officiating. Interment will be at Elk Creek Cemetery in
Madison Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made
to the family in care of the funeral home. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs
