Obituaries.... Joseph F. Lake, 67, former secretary and manager of
Sargeant Brothers, Inc., Somerville coal and lumber dealers, died Sunday,
Feb. 13, 1938, in East long Island Hospital, Greenport, L. I., following
a short illness. Services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Sutphen
Chapel, Somerville, with the Rev. Frederick G. Wiley, of the Somerville
Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the New Cemetery. Mr. Lake
was born near Flemington, a son of the late Evans G. and Jeannetta
Trimmer Lake.
