LAKIN, JOE ELLIS - age 71, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008. Joe
was a member of Corryton Baptist Church and was employed by Capper
Inc. for 42 years. Preceded in death by parents, Ellis "Pat" and Rosa
Lee Lakin. Survived by beloved wife of 43 years, Inez Lakin; son and
daughter-in-law, David and Minoka; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis
and Tina; grandchildren, Travis, Cara and Kaileigh Lakin.  Service 2
pm Sunday, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Billy
Dyke officiating with interment service to follow at Greenwood
Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers: Kenneth Kane, Chris Vandergriff,
Doug Vandergriff, Bruce Campbell, Greg Massengill, Tim Storm and Mike
Walker. Honorary pallbearers, former employees of Capper Inc. The family
would also like to thank everyone at St.  Mary's Hospice who treated
him with so much kindness, love and dignity. Special thanks to home
hospice nurse Brenda Robertson. The family will receive friends 6 to
