Hamilton (OH) Journal News, Tuesday, February 5, 2002 Jerry Lakes Jerry M. Lakes, age 68, of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Monday, February 4, 2002. He was born on April 2, 1933, in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of William and Leona (Fields) Lakes. He was a graduate of the 1951 Class at Hamilton High School. Mr. Lakes served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. On May 25, 1964, in Hamilton, Jerry married Judith Kay Bedunnah and she preceded him in death on June 5, 1989. He was employed as a Senior Counter at Beckett Paper for thirty years. He was a member of the Senior Citizens and the Beckett Paper Old Timers. Mr. Lakes is survived by his daughters, Kelly Rampa and Robert Francis of Hamilton, and Lori K. Smith and her husband Gregory of Hamilton; grandchildren, Zachariah Boyd, Nicholas Boyd, Ashlea Cramer, Maxwell Smith, and Natalie Francis; a brother, Vernon Lakes and his wife Mary Sue of Fairfield; sisters, Linda Hall, Barbara Pitman and Hilda Valencia, all of Tucson, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Eileen Henizer. Funeral services will be held at The Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South D Street, on Wednesday, February 6, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
