ATLANTA -- Jane Lakes, 65, of Lincoln, IL died 4:30 p.m. Thursday,
March 3, 2005, at her residence. She formerly of Atlanta, IL.

She was born Jan. 4, 1940, at Mount Auburn, IL to Clarence and Mildred
Bowles Black.

She married Arthur White on June 18, 1960, in Lincoln. He died Jan. 5,
1993.

She married Lyle B. "Jack" Lakes on Feb. 11, 1994, in Atlanta. He died
March 17, 2001.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy (Eric) Atchison of Atlanta, IL and
Carrie White in Minnesota; one son, Tim (Betsy Huffman) White of Atlanta,
IL; and seven grandchildren.

Lakes was a homemaker. She attended New Wine Fellowship in Lincoln, IL.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation will be
accorded.Memorial services may be scheduled at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.Quiram
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jane Lakes

Jane Lakes, 65, of Lincoln, formerly of Atlanta, died at 4:30
p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at her residence.  Mrs. Lake was a
homemaker.  She attended New Wine Fellowship.  She was born Jan. 4,
1940, at Mount Auburn, a daughter of Clarence and Mildred Bowles Black.
She married Arthur White June 18, 1960, in Lincoln.  He died Jan. 5,
1993.  She married Lyle B. "Jack" Lakes on Feb. 11, 1994, at Atlanta.
He died March 17, 2001.  Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Atchison
of Atlanta and Carrie White of Minnesota, one son, Tim White of Atlanta;
and seven granchildren.  Mrs. Lakes will be cremated.  Memorial services
may be scheduled at a later date.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials
may be made to the American Diabetes Association.  Quiram Funeral Home,
Atlanta, handled arrangements.
