                James K. Lakey
  James K. Lakey, 71, of Orange, died Saturday March 27, 2004 at Park
Place Medical Center, Port Arthur. Born to Richard Troy and Ella May
Kingsley Lakey in Broaddus, Texas he was an Orange resident for 65 years.
  Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Dorman
Funeral Home officiated by Richard Davis of the First Baptist Church of
Echo. Interment in Hebert Cemetery in Broaddus. Visitation will be 4:00
p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Tuesday at the funeral home.
  Survivors include wife, Nelwyn Lakey, Lake Charles; daughters, Pamela
Conley, Bridge City, Cindy McCombs, Belinda Willis both of Lake Charles
and Terry Clopper, Houston. Sisters. Lora Tarver, Jasper, Lois Attaway,
Orange and Gladys Choate, Orange. Grandchildren, Maranda Webb, Deanna
Conley, Clifford McCombs, Eric McCombs, Brandon Lakey, Jenna Clopper and
Christine Clopper. Great grandchildren, Ashland Hebert, Cadden Hebert
and McKenzie Webb.
