LAKIN, Howard O

Howard O. Lakin died Sept. 12, 2002, at age 83.

Mr. Lakin was born April 10, 1919, in Albion, Wash. He served in the
Navy during World War II in the Pacific. He moved to Portland in 1960. He
was a retired dispatcher for Garrett Freight Lines. In 1941, he married
Lois Russell.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Annette L. Collins and Carol J.
Lakin; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
