Leek, 78, of Toledo, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center, Marshalltown, after a lengthy illness; survivors include his wife, Marjorie; two sons, Laywin and Duane, both of Toledo; three grandchildren; two brothers, Ranney and William, both of Algona; two half brothers, Vernon Leeck of Algona and Leroy Leeck of Avoca, Wis.; and a half sister, Marlene Frambach of Algona; he was preceded in death by three half sisters, Lena, Mabel and Elizabeth; and a brother, Arthur; services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, both in Toledo; friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Henderson-Overton Funeral Home, Toledo; military graveside rites will be conducted by Reinig Friedrichs Post 72 of Toledo; a memorial fund has been established; Mr. Leek retired from Pioneer Hi-Bred Corn Co.
