Gloria M. Lakes
Gloria M. Lakes, age 64, of Hamilton, Ohio, died on Sunday, October 5,
2003, at Hospice of Hamilton. Born in Hamilton on July 25, 1939, she
was the daughter of Edgar and Pauline (Spence) Rose. She received her
education at the New Miami schools. Gloria was employed at Schroder
Manor and she was a member of the First Millville Baptist Church.

Gloria is survived by her children, Pamula Williams and her husband
Darrell of Fairfield Township, Paula Laycock of Hamilton, Bennie Lakes
and his wife Vickie of Hamilton, Doug Lakes and his wife Karen of
Camden, Ohio, and Sandra Cain and her husband Jim of Laconia, Indiana;
eleven grandchildren; brother, Vernon Rose of New Miami; sister-in-law,
Jeanette Rose of New Miami; niece, Lisa Clements and her husband Tony;
one great-niece; one great-nephew; and special friends, Jerry and Linda
Jones. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Edgar
"Sonny" Rose.  Funeral Services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home,
Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton on Friday, October 10, 2003,
at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplain Myra Wentworth officiating. Burial will
follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday
from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  at the funeral home.
