Macomb Daily Mount Clemens MI Thursday, April 19, 2007 Glen E. Lakin, 74, of Shelby Township, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007. Mr. Lakin, a U.S. Army veteran, was one of nine children. He is survived by his wife, Joyce "June" Lakin; daughters, Joyce (Joseph) Sadowski and Cathy (Christopher) Sykes; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one grandson. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brookside Missionary Baptist Church, 52203 Mound Road, Shelby Township. Visitation is 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester. Additional visitation is 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
