Family-Placed Obituary

LAKES, Gerald Age 43, of Franklin, OH; went to a better place on Monday,
May 15, 2006 at Miami Valley Hospital. Gerald was born in Montgomery
County on August 28, 1963 to Leroy and Barbara (Henry) Lakes. He loved
life, his family, and many friends and was the best dad and brother in
the world. He was preceded in death by his parents. Gerald is survived
by his wife of 23 years Jean ( Runyon) Lakes; children Clayton Owens,
Travis Roy Lakes, Chelsea Lakes all of Franklin; brothers and sisters
Tony Lakes, Dean Lakes, Kathy Collins, Star Harris, Jean Lakes Mousa,
Sarah Lakes, Charlene Blair, and Barbie Cone all of Franklin, and a
special dog Remi, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral
services are Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 10am at Anderson Funeral Home
1357 E. 2nd ST Franklin, OH with Bro. Delbert Dawes officiating. Burial
will be in Woodhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8pm at
the funeral home. He will never be forgotten and always remembered.
