Beloved wife of the late Edwin C.Laking (1996). Dear daughter of the late Hugh and Frances (Freeman) Land. Emma was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been prdeceased by sister Annie Land, Minnie Sutton, Maude James, Mamie Broeckel, Maggie Land and Ethel Howie, and brothers Joe, Jack, Norval, Norman and Alex Land. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St.,Guelph, Sunday (7-9 p.m.)and Monday (12:30 - 1:30 p.m.) Funeral srevice will be held, in the funeral home chapel, Monday, October 2,2000 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev Robin Pifer officiating. (Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre). Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau. Memorial contributions to the Gideon Bible Plan or the Calvary Baptist Church, Guelph would be appreciated by the family.
