Born Nov 10, 1934 to Arvel G. and Autie Brad-shaw Leek in Woods Cross, UT. Married Lucy A. Canaday June 19, 1959 in Salt Lake City. Graduated from Jordan High School in 1952. Served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1957 on the USS Essex Aircraft Carrier. Retired from Unisys in Dec 1994 after 34 years of service. Duane was a self styled humorist and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with people. He loved to travel and had a great love of vintage automobiles. He was a member of the Vintage Motor Car Club of American (VMCCA) since 1987. Survived by his wife; two children, son, Alan Leek, daughter, Lori (John) Myers; two grandchildren, Tony, Jessica; brothers, Thomas A. Leek, Dale W. Leek, Randel K. (Danielle) Leek, all of Salt Lake City; sisters, Glena (Melton) Stelter, Salt Lake City, Laura (Brent) Stephens, Horseshoe Bay, TX. Preceded in death by parents; and a sister-in-law, Janet Leek. Services will be Tues. March 26, 2002, 12 noon, Hidden Valley First Ward chapel, 1440 E. Raddon Dr (12000 S), Sandy, UT. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m., Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 S.
