ENGLAND - Dorothy Louise Lakey went to be with the Lord December 17,
2008.  She was born January 22, 1928 to the late Elsie and Ruel Haney in
Belleville, Ark.  Also preceding her in death is her late husband Alton
Lonell Lakey and two brothers. Mrs. Lakey is survived by one son, Michael
Lakey of England, three daughters, Carolyn Evans (Norman) of England,
Marilyn Doris Copeland (Gene) of Little Rock and Dorothy Lonell Lakey
of Bryant, one brother, Leroy Haney (Louise) of Sherwood, two sisters,
Letha Woods of England and Doris Murphy (Homer) of North Little Rock,
seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lakey was a Baptist,
a member of the AARP Group of England, loved gardening, spending time
with grandchildren and great-grandchildren and making homemade ice cream.
Visitation will be Friday, December 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral
Home in England. Services will also be held at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel,
Saturday at 2 p.m. and burial at Mulberry Cemetery in England officiated
by Minister Time Melikian. Pallbearers are Greg Evans, Chris Evans,
Benny Melikian, Tommy Melikian, Tim Melikian and Lance Melikian.
