Steubenvill Herald-Star; Steubenville OH; 2007-8-29 Charles L. Leek LEEK, Charles Leslie, 95, of HC 69, Middlebourne, W.Va., died August 28, 2007, at home. He was born December 24, 1911, in Elk Fork, W.Va., the son of the late Friend Benjamin Leek and Kathryn Virginia Myers Leek. He retired from Weirton Steel; and was a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sons; three brothers; one sister; four grandchildren; and his best friend, his dog, Toby. Surviving are sons, Charles Leek and Lonnie Leek, both of Middlebourne; daughters, Agnes Elaine Eastham of Middlebourne, Peggy Sue Ridgeway of N. Lima, Ohio, Bonnie Lou Harris of Cyclone, Pa. and Doris Jean Collins of Middlebourne; loving caregiver, Loranna "Red" Ferrell; special friend and neighbor, Jean Edge; step son, John Booher; step daughter, Beverly Shultz; 21 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Pauline Midcap of Short Creek, W.Va., Rose Rice of Wellsburg, W.Va. and Roxie Mercer of Weirton, W.Va. Calling hours Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, where services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m., with Evangelist Tom Butterfield officiating.
