LAKIN, CARLYN 
On Tuesday, May 1, 2001, the beloved wife of Arthur F. Lakin; mother of
Cynthia Smith and Craig Lakin. She is also survived by her sister,
Jacqueline Davis and her grandchildren. Born in Cumberland, MD, Carlyn
moved to the Washington area after graduating from Frostburg State
University. She retired from the Prince Georges County  [MD] School System
after teaching third and fourth grade for 28 years. A memorial service will
be held at College Park [MD] United Methodist Church on Friday, May 4 at
7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
