Bobby Vern Leek, 76, died April 5, 2006, in Mineral Wells.

Graveside service is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at Holiday Cemetery
with Rev.  Mark Bumpus, pastor of First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells,
officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial
Funeral Home. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation 6-7
p.m. Friday.

Bobby was born in Newport, Texas, on July 31, 1929, to Cecil and Opal
Leek.  He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1946 and then joined
the Navy where he was deployed on a submarine. After leaving the Navy
he went to work for Southwestern Bell, until he retired in 1987 after
35 years of service.

He is survived by his sister, Nelda Miley and her husband, Joe, of
Wichita Falls, Texas; daughter, Tammy Foster and her husband, Stan; son,
Randy B. Leek and his wife, Shawna, of Mineral Wells; and grandchildren
including Courtney Foster of Fort Worth and Robert Foster, Brittany
Lindsey and Scott Leek of Mineral Wells.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Opal Leek of Wichita
Falls; and granddaughter, Lindsey Lauren Leek of Mineral Wells.
